Who Can Be a Camper?
Our camp has girls from Newbury Park and the surrounding areas. We are open to all girls (priority registration is given to Newbury Park Girl Scouts).The only requirement is you must be registered with Girl Scouts USA to attend.
Camper grade level reflects the grade that the camper will be entering in Fall 2026 school year:
- Daisies entering 1st grade.
- Brownies entering 2nd or 3rd grade.
- Juniors entering 4th or 5th grade.
- Cadettes entering 6th grade.
Does your daughter have a friend (or two?) who isn't a Girl Scout, but would love to attend a week of camp with her? She can! Just have her register as a Girl Scout before registering for day camp. Then, send us an email at SequoiaDayCamp@gmail.com letting us know the friend is new to scouting and we'll make sure she's in the same patrol with your daughter!
Girls are grouped initially by level but depending on the numbers of girls, it may overlap into patrols according to grade level.
- Girls 1st -2nd grade are grouped together
- Girls 3rd - 4th grade are grouped together
- Girls 5th - 6th grade are grouped together
The cost for scouts coming to camp as a camper, is $135 for the week.
